Nick has a great way of explaining what he does, and telling stories. Good on you for letting him speak and asking the right questions! That is sometimes the most difficult thing to do. Great job guys

OMG, I've looped those 2 Pomplamoose/Dua Lipa basslines one hundred times in the car. The tone. The pocket! ❤. I'm so impressed at how Nick articulates his approach to the bass. Thanks for making this interview happen.

Was not expecting to see Nick here, but so glad you got him. He has such a great sense of how to make a bass line interesting without becoming overbearing. I'm not surprised to hear how thoughtful he is about how he plays. 😎

I learned guitar a bit before I learned bass, and my older brother was sooo into Tool at the time and he was showing me Jambi, those intro string lines, he played it for me and gave it a palm mute for the bass lines and I was in that from then on. That is so awesome to hear of that kind of experience when you're literally a budding musician. No wonder Nick is unbelievable and makes it look sooo effortless!

Awesome video. Found the 2 octave diagonal movement scale using 16th notes an awesome idea and have implemented it into my practice already. Opened my eyes to the technique. So easy to understand. It was like I was ripe for that idea to be planted in me. Gonna make a difference to opening up the fretboard, I can tell. A real derrrr / eureka moment 😊

Incredibly inspirational and educational. Had heard of Nick before this, big fan now.

Will be watching this like a million times to learn the way he syncopates and accents notes. He's a master at this.
