It's horrible when people get diagnosed with cancer but it absolutely shatters my heart when a child has cancer they have so much of their life that they can't enjoy because of it

The only one in that class that was nice to him has cancer, and she’s so young

My colleague and team lead lived and thrived with this. She is a trailblazer
I was ignorant of this disease until once during a team meeting she herself announced it

I had leukemia when I was 6 and whenever I see other children with cancer in media shatters my heart. I hate how other children have to go through what I’d do and sometimes worse and still not make it.

I befriended a homeless man who had Tourette’s. It angered and saddened me that he chose sleeping outside over shelters because the other homeless folk would try to beat him up and steal his stuff because they were angered that he woke them at night with his spasms. How fuhking miserable and inhumane!

I always love when teachers talk to the kids being truthful about they're situation and being honest

I really like how she said “Are they ever going to make you well?” instead of “Are they ever going to make you normal?”❤

I have Tourette’s and it feels nice to be appreciated because when I was little, I tried to take my own life away because I had Tourette’s and I’m sure all my others with Tourette’s out there know what I’m feeling. It’s amazing to feel included.❤

My aunt teaches second grade and a 7 year old girl got diagnosed with a brain tumor a month after school started. My mom who helps out in the classroom went to the funeral and she couldn’t event get through it without crying seeing a tiny coffin. People dying from cancer is awful but a child on the cusp of growing up and learning have their life cut short is just i csnt even fathom the pain the family experienced
Now there is a permanent desk memorial dedicated to the little girl in the classroom

The little girl had a great heart, knew he had a problem like herself and did the best she could to support him, he did the same. Love this film.
