I'm going to have to do this. I used to have Push Day, Pull Day, Leg Day, and Arm Day. But anything that simplifies the whole process with compound movements I'm all for that.

One of the major points of Stronglifts, were I believe more attention needs to be emphasized, is the importance of de-loading when failure happens which is really not failure but the beginning of the addition of strength to come. This program wants its user to be honest with the self. A failure is not just missing 5x5 but also if you accomplish 5x5 with poor posture, don't count it as a complete 5x5 set. In this manner, you will see the most efficient gains in strength and you will look forward to honest assessment of your failure to complete 5x5 successfully.

you when you progress through 5x5, and you get to failure... and then take a deload week... what weight do you start back at? the same weight you missed? or drop a few lbs and get a "running start"?

Can you please tell me why when I’ve been doing this program it was good at first and I built up to a 135x5 squat 145x5 deadlift and 95x5 bench and it just won’t go up anymore I try reloading I know I’m getting enough sleep and eating enough I’m getting enough carbs and protein I’m on a bulk I started taking creative I’m doing no accessory excercise and nothing works some please explain
