7:50 the wing turrets do move, they spin around. Also no one is supposed to be in there in the first place. Despite the lego versions having seats in them, in the media no one sits in those turrets, they’re automated turrets. Even the hasbro gunships don’t let people sit in them

Great review Dan-O! My favorite LAAT redeco is Separatist Nightmare. The only one I passed on was the Crumb Bomber as it didn't feel unique enough imo. I love the MGS Gunships, amazing details. I've bought a bunch for repaints. 7:49 The wing turrets can move.

I gotta get me these. My favorite star wars ship. and yes, typically in a military aircraft like an assault gunship, like a Russian Mi-24 or Mi-28, and western stuff like the AH-64 and Huey Cobra variants, the gunner sits up front, an the pilot is in the rear seat.

The issue with the background art you identified at 4:40 looks to me like one of those Separatist Techno Union ships they attacked, and we're seeing the smoking ruin. Not sure what type I mean? Look for this line in "Attack of the Clones" - Anakin: Aim above the fuel cells!

I've always liked the LAAT design. I'm curious why Jazwares described their gifted one as Muunilinst, when I recall reading in the Clone Wars microseries Wookieepedia that this particular LAAT was instrumental in rescuing Ki-Adi Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti from the first documented meeting with Grievous, but it was on the planet Hypori. I did some further digging into Hypori, and it was a world known for droid manufacture, so the reason for the Separatist invasion was obvious - they wanted those factories to make more battle droids. Oh well, that's just my continuity OCD kicking in, lol. Great video, Dan-O! Thanks for a great look at these works of art.
