I changed the split ring and used a 4/0 inline hook and caught a bunch of 28-30” striped bass in the Northeast. Good lure to jig off the bottom

As a beginner should i use the lure in middle hole or front or back hole? I just purcased my first rod 180cm 20gram and 2 of those 14 gram 😄, i used to fish 270cm rod 50 gram with 25 gram jerkbaits and weedless spinners and i got my record pike of 8kg.
