Atheists Anonymous At La Costa Glen

A group of retirement center residents in Carlsbad have started a group called Atheists Anonymous. But the group's leader says their reception hasn't been positive.

Hell yeah!!! I wanna show this to people who say "it's just a phase you'll grow out of it" referring to my lack of faith. Just because I'm in college my opinion is discounted. As if I didn't come to this conclusion from rational thought and careful consideration.

Her opening comment was really funny, maybe someone else has made that joke before but I've never heard it before, and it was awesome.

It is unfortunate that some believers are apparently so insecure that they have to attack those who don't share their beliefs. What are they afraid of?

To Atheists Anonymous: Good for you! You're promoting freedom of thought and expression, and every thinking person, believer or not, should be thanking you. Thank you for standing up to the bullies.

This group should be very proud! Hiding the word and concept "atheist" would be a shameful surrender -- "Exploring Religions, " an outrage. They should never cooperate in treating their atheism as something shameful and to be hidden. These good people refute Psalms 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." If atheists refuse to stay under-the-radar, it will be harder to vilify us.

I think this group is wonderful. My goodness, to be discriminated against is really something in this day and age isn't it? Those who are judging might be in for a surprise when they leave this earth. It is best not to judge. As long as one does not hurt another being (human or animal) what is wrong? NOTHING!

By the adage "stoned" as in the biblical term depicted in this video, it is said that two men who lay together should be inebriated...that's what was meant by the word stoned. Jesus slept with all twelve apostles and wrote this passage accordingly.
