I've been rocking your setup, fronts sitting on subs for about a year now. You are a genius my friend!

You only needed one cable not a Y plug one end into amp and the other into LFE (low frequency effect) which is the white colored connection on the sub. You only use both if you don't have LFE

Great video . Would never recommend putting towers on subwoofers, plus your tweeters(left, center, right) need to be aligned . Also your surround speakers for 5.2 should be to the left and right of your seating position. Yours are in the surround back position for 7.2. People who hate on klipsch secretly wish they would've heard of klipsch before they purchased whatever it is they purchased. You should try stacking your subs, its a huge improvement

Thanks for sharing this have a similar 5.2 surround set up as you, but I have Klipsch R-100SW 10" Subwoofers, not the 12". What is the importance of setting the tower speakers on top of the subwoofers? Does that affect the sound quality in any way, positive or negative? I'm assuming you did that to save space? If so, that's a good idea and I may just do the same as long as it doesn't affect the sound quality. Just haven't seen anyone set it up like that before. Also, why the two prong subwoofer cable to plug into both jacks? I have a standard single prong subwoofer cable that I've been using.

I like how you used the subs as speaker stands bring those tweeters up more to ear level

Setup is good. Couple of questions..1) Do you need to change any volume settings of your TV or Firestick(if plugged into receiver) or any settings related to volume ? 2) What's the volume settings on your receiver at the time of your recording / playing the music ? 3) How does the output from TV being sent to Receiver HDMI or Optic ? 4) Occasionally I get eARC cable error, are you familiar with this ? 5) I kind of like the music being played...what album is that ?

If the receiver has a subwoofer out, don’t you only need to connect the sub LFE port? Is it necessary to connect both rca ports on the sub?

LFE is marked on the sub near the rca inputs. You really only need one not two he did not do that setup right . The only time you use two rca is if the amp ur useing is left, right also red, white for me . Also there are some subs not capable of lfe and if you have a amp with one sub out then you would use these for how he has them setup

Very nice setup! I'm considering those subs. Currently have 2 klipsch r-10sw subs. Want deeper base though. Also looked at the svs pb 1000. Still not sure

I found setting up the subwoofer like you did with single RCA connects onto the subwoofer output on an amplifier/receiver, with the two other RCAs connecting directly to the subwoofer's inputs gives me a lot more meatier, powerful deep bass compared to just having the single to LFE. Did you notice the difference?

im planning to buy subwoofer, but i have no space in my lifing room. is it advisable to stack front speaker on top of subwoofer like you did?

Isn’t it a bad idea to stack the floor speakers on top of the subs?

Can I use a Basics RCA Audio Cable for each subwoofer. Instead of the RCA Male Y Splitter?

Try to use Dirac Live and the Klipsch speakers will come to LIFE.
You wont believe the difference!
I did it with my RP 280F and 450C and 2 subwoofers 115.
Without Dirac Live the Klipsch sound flat and a bit harsh.
Dude..i could not believe after Dirac Live that that sounds came out like that..holysh....

Well I would agree that two subwoofers in the front like you've got it looks better you would find that if you took one subwoofer and put it on the opposite side of the room somewhere to the left you'll get more uniform base I've got the same exact system you have and that's what I did and it sounds way better cuz the base is even and everywhere no sweet spots

Can you connect the subwoofers with one cable to one I'm asking cous I watched another video and it was one from the receiver to the subwoofer and it was just one cable not like u showed one opens in to two is there a difference I appreciate it if tell me cous this is the first 7.2.2 for me and truth is I don't know much I left of the sound hobby years ago scene the first 5.1 so am behind

U do not hook the cable into both of the rca jacks. 1 plug says R for right, which is analog. The other says LFE which is digital. U choose 1 or the other, not both. If u use the LFE jack, which I recommend. U have to turn the hz knob all the way to the right which is the LFE setting. The LFE standard is 120hz. Just FYI👍🏽
