As a Londoner, thank you so much for your positivity. Also, when you come next, visit the parks and forests. Greenwich Park has a beautiful flower garden (and deer!), Abbey Wood Forest is in SE2 and is breathtakingly spectacular all year round. The 02 in North Greenwich often has lots of events. Covent Garden is very pretty and probably the calmest for casual shopping and sightseeing. Kensington has ALL the major museums and the V&A and natural history museum are my favourite- the aesthetics are so cool. ALL THE PLACES I HAVE LISTED ARE FREE ENTRY.

Went to London at 17 for the first time! Now I’m 24 and will be going again with one of my best friends who hasn’t gone :) and I can’t wait to explore it all over again.

Hey Fiona, thanks for the suggestions - I went to London for the first time last week and went to Covent Garden, Westminster, Chinatown, Soho and the National Gallery. I will be going to Notting Hill and Chelsea next time and will go to Borough and Shoreditch too.

I went there around Christmas time and it was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. We went to almost all of these places and it was magnificent. Thank you for being a fun and inspirational person! ❤️

None of these places are actually in London. A better top 5 is St Paul’s cathedral, the Tower, Charterhouse Square, Monument and a river boat ride from Greenwich to Westminster.
