As someone with naturally nearly translucent brows, I highly recommend using just for men (light brown) to dye your eyebrows if you want to cut down on the amount of product you have to use! It takes less than 5 minutes & it’s makes my brow routine so simple!

I think these prioritization of staple products and more drugstore price points is spot on.

From someone who has had to go through this process (I left my makeup bag in the console of a rental car before flying out of state 😰), the most painful losses were my brushes and discontinued products that still had a ton of life left (RIP my perfect shade of Sephora bronzer). Would be curious about what brushes would be your first picks as well as the total cost of replacement.

I would raid the ELF shelf if I had to replace my every day makeup essentials, including tools. The majority of what I use is ELF anyways. And you're right about their mascara game. ELF wasn't great when it came to mascara but lately I have come to enjoy what they have. I would add in a few Flower Beauty items, too. At some point I would splurge on a few Natasha Denona minis that I currently have and would miss.

I’m not sure if you’ve tried it yet but I really think you’d enjoy the Eborian BB au ginseng cream. It’s more of a natural matte finish but works perfectly with my tret dried skin. It’s a light-medium buildable coverage. Their CC cream is also amazing for the light wash and evening out.
