Hey Tam ! I really love all of your videos ❤
I’ve been following you for a long time and you genuinely seem to care about others. Tho as we all know these brands are exploiting humans, kids and ruining their lives.
I also used to overly consume fast fashion and unethical brands. Till I realized my behaviors weren’t matching with my convictions nor my values. It was hard to accept I was contributing to other people’s oppression, but I had to face the truth and change my way of consuming fashion.
Today we can shop in thrift shops, on depop, vinted or vestiaire collective for more luxury items. Or buy from smaller/ local business. And the best part is that no one will have the same clothes + it’s often better quality !
Ain’t gonna lie, it wasn’t easy to change and after years I still sometimes have to fight the urge to go on a shopping spree at zara. But the reward is so beautiful ! Aligning my actions with my values and putting people’s life before my envy really raised my self esteem. I fell much better knowing I do my best to not support other people’s enslavement.
That being said, change takes time and mistakes. The point isn’t to be perfect but to truly do the best each can, at their level.

Hey Tam, two things: first I absolutely LOVE your videos, you really changed my mind in so many areas. But second, the planet we live on is actually dying...I totally see the point in wanting new fashion pieces, but maybe in smaller relations? It's really sad to see that people all over the world think and strategize about saving the enviroment and at the same time other people keep buying masses of fast fashion, produced under harmful conditions, just a note that this is a problem truly existing

Tam, I love you but I really want to state that, although these fashion hauls are nice to watch, due to the fast fashion companies (like ZARA, asos, H&M prettylittlething etc.) poor human beings (including children) in developing countries are being exploited. There are trapped in a vicious circle. Furthermore, the climate change gets worse. And the customers of these companies are to blame, me included. All I want to convey that we should be aware of the tragedy we‘re creating through ordering from companies that produce in developing countries. We all should lower our consumption in order to protect the suffering people and the threatened environment.

surprisingly, my favorite piece was the blue, striped, button up shirt. at first glance, i was WORRIED. like, it did not look cute at all, until you put it on. it fits you perfectly. i think it would go perfect with a white pair or shorts or a white statement mini skirt with ruffles or something. i’m definitely going to look for a top just like that one. i also really loved the multicolored mini skirt on you. not something i would usually be draw too, but it looked so amazing on you. also how do you manage to look good in EVERY color??
