Want to take your old phone and use it to monitor CPU, GPU, and Motherboard temps? A PC resource monitor can be used as desk accessory or mounted inside your case!

Today I found a great way to repurpose one of your old phones you have laying around, just download the app on your phone and computer, link them together and start picking which stats you want to monitor using gauges, graphs or any other model you like. Figured I would share some tips on how I'm setting my phone up for any viewers trying this too.

Make your monitor better changing the folowing settings in your phone:

- At devs mode set your phone to stay active while charging (your screen will stay on at all times with charger on)
- Set to airplane mode and wifi on (save battery)
- Set your lockscreen to lock at 10/30 secs
- At devs mode again, set your phone to skip lockscreen and unlock imediately
- Connect your phone directly to your PC USB for charging and sync with your pc power
- Turn off battery optimization for your remote monitor app or turn off the kill app (or find a similar setting in your phone, just make sure your monitor keeps running at all times)

This way you can turn your pc off at night, and your screen will turn off since its not charging anymore. When you turn your pc on again it will automatically turn your screen on and at the last screen you left it, since its skiping lockscreen too. It will automatic turn everything on and off with your computer. I couldnt stand the app screen on while my pc and lights were off so, thats the tip.

Sub'd because this worked perfectly in my Phanteks P400a case on the back wall under my exhaust fan with a Galaxy S8+. Now I don't have to spend 50.00 on a low quality Pi screen.

Great video, I actually think you have great charisma and you have a good voice to listen to for tech, I can see you going far in this industry. One tip I have for you is to make central eye contact with the camera! But other than that, good luck sir!
