At the time the song was at #54 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; four weeks later on June 20th, 1960 it would peak at #22 {for 1 week} and it stayed on the chart for 13 weeks...
Between 1958 and 1969 the Louisiana native had twelve Top 100 records; with three making the Top 10, "Just A Dream" {#4 in 1958}, "Go, Jimmy, Go" {#5 in 1960}, and "Venus in Blue Jeans" [#7 in 1962}...
Jimmy Clanton will celebrate his 77th birthday in four months on September 2nd {2015}...
* "Another Sleepless Night" was penned by Neil Sedaka, and he also appeared on the same 'Beechnut' show that night...
