Drone Test Bed in Västervik – RISE SICS East

Vinnova has granted SEK 8 million for a project to establish a test bed in Västervik for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the area of ​​environmental technology. The project is led by SICS East in Linköping, involving among other Wabema AB and Västervik Municipality. The goal is to establish an area where businesses, governments and other organizations can safely carry on the development, testing, training and demonstrations of how unmanned aircraft can be used to improve the efficiency of agriculture and the environment.
