Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin among 6 hostages found dead in Gaza

Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an Israeli-American who was taken hostage by militants during Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack, was among six hostages found dead in Gaza Sunday, military officials said. According to the Israeli military, all six hostages were killed shortly before forces arrived.

My deepest condolences to the parents of Hersh, Hersh with the smile of an angel. His murder is a heinous crime, but the media and the government don’t treat all Americans equally. Shireen Abu Akleh was also an American and a journalist. You would expect the media to be outraged that an Israeli soldier murdered her while she was doing her job as a journalist. But unfortunately, when the murderer is Israeli and the victim is not white, the media and the government don’t care. To add insult to injury, an elderly non-white American was also murdered, and not only did the media and the government not care, but they also rewarded the murderer with favorable media coverage and billions of taxpayer dollars, while former soldiers sleep on the streets. And then they wonder why there is no trust in the media—because you treat the American people like fools.

the next mariners game i watch will be game one of the world series. whether thats next year or forty years from now. ive been following this crap team for 35 years. lifes to short for such crushing disappointment.
