The story of Chrysler

Today I'll tell you a story about how a dropout created the massive American automotive corporation Chrysler. He owned a piece of Ford and even managed to buy the Dodge company. Enjoy the documentary!

Daimler took over Chrysler, raided Chrysler's $7 billion in cash, crashed the stock, and sold Chrysler for a "loss" (on paper). It was the most egregious act of corporate raiding in history.

Terrific job on this video. An honorable mention is Chrysler having a collaboration with Mitsubishi. Just like how the Dodge Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000 GT were under the same platform.

In the early 1920s Walter P. Chrysler reorganized and saved Willys from bankruptcy which eventually produced the Jeep and in 1986 Chrysler under Lee Iacocca bought out AMC which had acquired the remains of Willys from Kaiser which by that time owned the Jeep brand.

"Chrysler" also saved a broke Daimler, AMC and it's currently keeping Fiat and Peugeot's lights on.

Forgot about the time they bought Lamborghini and collaborated with Maserati, I hate Daimler for what they did to Chrysler but Chrysler did use some parts from Benz to develop the 300, Grand Cherokee and commercial vans of Dodge now Ram

with Walter Chrysler had working with GM and then on his own with Chrysler former Maxwell now, it is own now, as for it now, his own now, Chrysler now, thinking you MR Chrysler it is be a good times too, and then his get Dodge now,

The connection with Mitsubishi probably should have been mentioned, they worked together for decades, atarting around 1972.. with the dodge / Plymouth Colt, at some points also sold as Mitsubishi mirage, Plymouth lazer / eagle talon (eclipse), dodge stealth Mitsubishi 3000gt... Plus Mitsubishi engines in multiple cars and a shared plant called diamond star motors... Also Daimler sadly almost destroyed Mitsubishi at the same time it had Chrysler.

And nowadays nobody wants a Chrysler or Dodge because of cheap parts and their owned with Peugeot which is junk in Europe. Sad.

I knew the Chrysler building had nothing to do with Walter Chrysler, , they have had great cars, , Plymouth brand helped with sales, , I did not know Peugeout owned their shares no wonder they. Have become Racy ( horsepower)
