My wife and I flew RAM from JFK to Europe and in 2017. We were very impressed! They even provided us with a complimentary hotel in Casablanca on our layover, even though I had scheduled the overnight layover on purpose even though a same day connection was available.

Casablanca is the biggest moroccan city which i would not recommend for Tourists, crouded and smelly (in some areas, probably where Josh was) The Capital Rabat is much nicer, Go to Fes, Marrakech, Essaouira or Chefchaouen. A 1h40 Ride with the Speed Train from Casablanca to Tangiers (350 km) would be as well nice to discover some nice mediterranen Cities (Tetouan, Marina Smir, Medieq etc..)

0:55 Both RAM and Tunisair are either majority owned or fully owned by their respective governments. There are well run government airlines and poorly run government airlines. Tunisair seems to be the later. It is heavily over staffed because it is seen by many as a comfortable and relatively secure job. This is why many ministers or other government members like to pack the rolls with their friends and family. Nepotism at its finest. This was a similar issue that was facing South African Airways and I’m sure many other government owned airlines out there.

Excellent report ... I have to admit, the long, drawn-out "will I or won't I be thrown out my seat" sequence somehow almost brought on a panic attack for me on your behalf! I can't explain it .... you definitely know how to keep the tension going. But glad it all worked out in the end.

Well you cannot compare Morocco to Tunis.Tunis itself the country are far away behind Morocco in everything such as civilization and economy progress Morocco is also better than some countries in Europe

I always use air maroc as there are no direct flights from Sierra Leone to London or beirut their service is not bad and most times its a smooth ride especially from London am a travel agent by the way I came across your chanel by accident I always enjoy most of your videos thanks for always giving a comprehensive review on Airlines keep up the good job 👍👏❤️

I agree to say departures✈ from Casablanca to Northern American destinations (NY JFK- Boston - Miami - Montreal ) demonstrate a better flight experience & passengers journey (more attentioned crew- 0 entertainment default- In term of cleanliness Casablanca is definitely not the reference. Have you tried too go to Dakhla, Rabat, Agadir, Tetuan or Tangier ? Lovely cities !

Interesting review! Although I agree that the 787 is RAM's flagship I think nowadays it's rather the 787-9 than 787-8. The dash 9 offers a whole other flight experience. The 787-8 is getting very mixed feedback while the 787-9 generally receives very positive feedback. Maybe worth a try someday! :)

Great review Josh!! I’m sure we can forgive you with the absence of a loo review, you needed the shut eye hahahahah 😉 It’s a pity over the cleanliness of the plane, it doesn’t take much effort to just squirt the windows with cleaner and give a little wipe down.

Still, food looked great and I’m so glad you gave your inimitable review style to RAM. Morocco looked beautiful but I’d stay clear of Casablanca if I visit, thanks for the tip.
