The best Monstercat release of the year, maybe even on the history of the entire label (imo), is Eptic - Beyond The Stars. I am an unabashed Eptic super-fan, and Beyond The Stars is my absolute favourite off his amazing Flesh & Blood EP. Everything about the song is just perfect to me, the melodies, the sound design, the heaviness, the progression, I can't emphasize how much I love the song (and the EP it's from).

My #10-#2 of the year that aren't Eptic (don't want him taking up the entire list lol) is:

disagreed with half of your picks, but I'm glad Athena got some love, solid picks overall. this year was kind of a mixed bag, with a lot more of just average material and sometimes even lower lows than last year. but it picked up big time on the second half of the year. gonna drop my picks here just for reference (in no particular order):
