Net zero is a tactic policy. It allows the UK more energy independence from global supply chains. The US is almost completely independent from opec+. We’ll always rely on fossil fuels in the short term, but no importing fuel for our electricity is a good start in strategic independence

it's essential that science is openly debated, questioned and tested, be it about climate change, vaccines or anything else. If it isn't, then it's not science. It's also essential for interviewers to ask their questions and allow an uninterrupted answer.
