Показать описание
What is the reason for the perpetual struggle between the brothers Yaakov and Esav, which began while they were yet in their mother's womb? They represent cosmic forces and spiritual energies that are manifest throughout the saga of human history, fulfilling the Divine will which ultimately leads to the great Redemption of all mankind in the messianic era.

The Torah portion of Toldot (Gen. 25 : 19 - 28 : 9) is read on Shabbat, 29 Mar Cheshvan 5785 - November 30, 2024

I LOVE the story of Jacob and Esau.
Isaac the Father loved his sons, and according to their custom, he saw the inheritance he was leaving behind as something he owed to his sons. The arrangement between Jacob and Esau was between them, but not with their father Isaac. Isaac loved Esau, "is that you my son? Are you here to put meat in my mouth? 🥺" he says to Jacob unknowingly.
So Isaac was thinking "I owe Esau his portion, and HE will pay over to Jacob what he owes. I trust my son to do what is righteous" and he knew the prophecy too, "Jacob will receive the birthright." But Esau said so many times "that was a joke, i dont owe you, " that their mother stepped in. Then when Esau saw that he didnt have a birthright he begged his father for one-- even though he was supposed to have given it away. So Isaac has no remorse and God has no judgement because Jacob sought to fulfill every obligation.
He 1 Made sure Isaac, *in good faith, innocently* (as he was blind), gave Esau what was owed and Jacob what was owed.
2 Fulfilled the contract made with Esau.
3 Obeyed God's prophecy
4 And Kept Esau from dishonoring himself by violating their contract.
Then when he saw his brother again, gave him the portion of the second-born. He never wanted all of the inheritance. Forget whether it was sneaky, it was practically perfect decision making.

According to Neville Goddards teaching Jacob is the inner man, the imagination, the hairless one and Esau is the outer man, the senses, one’s reason. Imagination must reign over the senses, feeling is the secret to appropriate the wished for state, as a state that already is. That is asking what would the feeling be like if the wish was already fulfilled? Then dwelling in that state, in spite of the senses and reason that deny it. That is why Imagination is destined to rule over Reason and Faith is in trusting the unseen reality to become real. The older reason/sense man shall serve the younger the imagination. This is a struggle within every man and many never come to such knowledge of the power of their imagination, because they don’t see mind as cause and rely only on their senses. As Rabbi said the material man vs the Spiritual man.

Thank you for the message Rabbi, but doesn't it read in Malachi, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated"? I thought it had only to do with two nations : the nation of Edom, and the nation of
