As an Arsenal fan I absolutely hated playing against Steve McManaman. In every game he'd give our defenders so many problems. Definitely one of the most underrated players in Prem history.

Please show the 2-1 over Arsenal at Home in 04/05 with Mellor's winner. All three goals were amazing. That was up against the peak Arsenal team

I was a student in London at the time and attended the match as a Liverpool supporter. I was not able to secure a ticket in the Away section so I had to very discerning about my support for the Reds. I was obviously thrilled at the result!

Interestingly after the match as the supporters were leaving they were yelling things at the arsenal changing room and Ian Wright stuck his head out a window and yelled back. A police officer then said something to the effect of “Ian Wright you shut your mouth right now or you are in trouble with me”. It was quite entertaining.
