Taken right from the subs:
Picard: I've no idea what it means.
Riker: Of course not. There was a computer virus on the Enterprise when you were incapacitated.
Picard: Incapacitated? Oh. Locutus. The Borg. Of course.
Riker: It scrambled our navigational system and arbitrarily added 3 to every digit.

Doesn't sound at all like something the Crew or Starfleet came up with, but instead was planted by the Borg. I mean... you wouldn't call a scrambler a "Virus" either if you were the one to come up with it. Burnett is full of shit.

Borg Queen Pulaski is just carrying out a grudge against Crusher for getting her booted off the Enterprise.

Beverly: "No Starfleet. Trust no one."

Picard: Immediately tells the secret word to Captain Will Riker of Starfleet.

The Caeser Cipher (The idea of shifting a value a set number of places) is one of the easiest ciphers to break. The Borg would've been able to crack that in no time so this is a terrible plan.

Instead of "+3" Riker should have said some random technobabble like, "We used a Venckenheimer Inversion" or something.

I’m sure someone has already said it but, RMB wasn’t paying attention. He talked about the communications being shifted over with 3s but Riker was explaining the navigation was scrambled with 3s to shake the Enterprise.

So explain how she knew he would go to Riker to translate the message when She told himTRUST NO STARFLEET and she didn't know where Riker was or if Picard could get to him ? Maybe she should have said "Your Number 1 job is to trust no one" ?

"when you were incapacitated"
"...which one of those 47 times are you referring to, Will?"

So if Picard has listened to Beverly she had screwed herself as only People who are (or have been) in Starfleet could decode the message. But I guess she's kinda the mixed messages person now.

"Not a great plan."

The dumbest plan I've heard since underpants gnomes tried to explain how they make profit.

I feel like they used "3" as some call back to Cause and Effect, with how Data sent that message to them on the final loop, so they'd listen to Riker's idea.
Still kinda weird

You have to hand it to Terry Matalas - by reaching out and stroking the ego of people like Burnett and Dave Cullen, he has absolutely made them into his thralls!

It could be a callback to the time loop episode, and no one really quite remembers why 3’s are involved.

"They plussed canon." That must be plusgood.

It makes sense, but obviously they guy talking at the end didn't understand it one bit. Riker and the crew didn't come up with it, it was the Borg that did it.

... so he's implying that the entire crew of the Enterprise during the Borg encounter knew of this 'encryption' technique and not a single person bothered to mention it in their follow-up report after the incident? Youd think Starfleet would want a microsecond by microsecond detailed report of everything that happened during the entire incident that threated its very existance and that of the entire Federation. Any infiltrator in Starfleet would be able to easily search for that term in the records and figure out its meaning.

3 pips? Like from TNG's "Cause and Effect"?

Counselor Troy could have just used AOL Instant Messenger like she did in Nemesis to keep communications secret from the Borg.

Utter rubbish, don't forget Terry Matalas works for Secret Hideout, the same cowards who stole from Anas Abdin and then lied in court to say he wanted to copyright the notion of Tardigrades, not the name
of his original work that involved Tardigrades.

I’m so glad you included RMB - he’s such a shill, I don’t know what cbs/Paramount did that all the critics were so exited about the show. I mean the social media campaign they did was so intense… whoever reads this comment, do you think RMB/Cullen/Nerdrotic were paid for this? I can’t explain it otherwise. I think the show was a 3/10 at best. I definitely don’t want „TerryTrek“, it’s as bad as Kutzman-Trek.
Matalas did the last 2 episodes himself and they were the worst. The whole story doesn’t make sense at all. It’s just memberberries. Why did the first changeling wanted to kill Jack when they want him so bad? It was nice to watch it from week to week, but it doesn’t work when you know all the mysteries they set up, and binge watch it. Compared to DS9 Matalas should be ashamed. First he said „best StarTrek ever“, then he needed to explain everything on Twitter because it didn’t make sense.
But mostly I hate all the critics who talked about it like it was good. As much as I hate Discovery, just imagine STD did. the same thing in the Borg cube - they would talk about how absurd this scene was… why should the Borg have a vessel big like that, with such much empty space… oh, and the Borg cube shoot at itself inside itself whenever it missed the Enterprise. I would be ok if they would talk real shit.
NN, I hope you make a collection of explanations from all these guys and show that they all were bought! Please, I beg you to do it, I’m going to be a patreon of your channel. You’re the last guy who wasn’t or isn’t fake, that’s why I’m on your channel since the beginning. You must be a cool dude in real
