11:33 Bless this teacher, she seems like such a kind and accepting person and I hope she gets to go back to teaching because those children need her and others like her to spread kindness instead of hate!!!

7:18 My only question is....did they ever think about how weird that would be? Imagine you go to the bathroom and see this testosterone filled man with abs and everything in the girls bathroom. Imagine your a guy and you see a really pretty lady IN THE MENS BATHROOM. Talking about "oh think of the kids" imagine how weird that would be if you're a kid seeing that and how confused you would be since you were always taught boys go to the boys bathroom and girls go to the girls bathroom.

It's quite scary what's happening around the trans mass hysteria (I only use that word for a lack of a better term), not just in the US, but also in the UK. I came here to escape a Southeast Asian country which is a lot more conservative at least for a little while to try and find my first job. But this hysteria is really scary especially because of the uncertainty of whether gender-affirming care is still going to exist for even adults in even just a few years.

Hello people! Happy Pride from a queer ace transmasc enby.

Need to vent for a minute:

I just saw a news video about a woman who burned a pride flag outside a restaurant. She was arrested and the flag was replaced, but 99% of the comments are people calling her a "hero"... wtf?? How can the world be so desensitized and hateful that they think it's fine, heroic even, to commit a hate crime and arson, to put the people in the restaurant in potential danger (some of the fire got onto the surrounding plants and there were "external damages" to the building). Cishet people get visibility, respect, recognition, representation, ALL THE TIME, without any resistance or having to fight for it. The restaurant owner decided to show a tiny bit of kindness and recognition for the LGBTQ+ community, and someone decided that was justification to commit arson, and hundreds more decided to act like she's some kind of god for being a destructive, hateful POS. It made me sick to read those comments. I'm losing faith in the world. I wish people would just understand that we have the right to exist- which is the BARE FUCKING MINIMUM. We should have the right to representation, and yet people go apeshit when there's one character wearing a pride pin for two seconds in a movie with dozens of cishet characters. They think that destruction of property is ok when it's at the expense of abused, oppressed people. I hate hearing that a tiny bit of representation is "shoving it down people's throats" just because it makes them acknowledge that we actually exist, and "turning kids gay" when I grew up with entirely cishet characters, and that didn't turn me straight!
Anyway, if you read all of that, thank you. I hope you're doing well. You're valid, and remember that the homophobes and transphobes don't know shit. <3

A guy back in school called me a slur, so I took all the caps of his pens.

Just a reminder that it is a privilege to go to pride parades, if you can that is awesome, but alot of closeted people or queer people who are housebound or bedbound can't. Have fun, remember to support and include disabled and QTBIPOC people, stay safe, and stay hydrated.

I'm not lying when I say these compilations give me so much strength and so much hope for the future. I love you and everyone in this community and I hope you keep finding the strength, and the hope, and the beauty in this world too 🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧
Edit: I forgot to add, as a lesbian from the south/bible belt, these really do heal my heart.

33:43 I’m trans masc and live in South Carolina, I am currently 12 years old and I came out to my family (was forcefully outed by a boy who was sexually harassing me) this year, it’s hard being harassed and bullied constantly for who I am, it’s hard not being excepted by my family, but I know and I want all other trans youth to know that you matter and that your gender is not determined by what genitalia you have, stay safe 💙💖🤍💖💙

The teacher that spoke out made me so emotional. The whole story is terrifying. But the part about the kid asking “why don’t we got a voice?” Hurt, a lot.

I got called Sir for the first time in public today! ...and then got called Miss right afterward. Ah, 2 minutes of gender euphoria.

The animation at 28:12 was so powerful it made me cry. I hate that this is the reality for so many kids now and I am forever grateful that my country does not enforce this hate on the kids I care for. My heart goes out to all of you <3 stay safe!

28:08 this one hit me in the feels... thats where we all are right now, and it hurts so much. This community is one of the only places I feel safe, where I am finally seen and understood. I'm terrified to lose this. I can't.

That last one legitimately has me in tears😢 I feel so many things I don't even know how to describe I know I'm apparently a bad person for being bisexual but it feels like all the shit my own mother went through would go to waste if I just sat down and shut my mouth ya know

The EqualityTexas hit too close to home, I had to pause and cry for a minute. Even though the exact situation isnt the same, I live in texas and do feel like i have to hide so many things as a queer teen. Remember that all of yall are brave, beautiful, and yall ARE LOVED! dont let anyone tell you otherwise. you are loved.
