I think the new Rex animation is a sort playing ability as we know that Rexes actually play fight with their offspring even after the became mature of age so I think that is exactly what that is though it’s unlikely

Remember the History Channel show, Jurassic Fight Club. Well, around the time that show came out, there was also a game version of it on the History Channel website, and the T-Rex was a playable character. Each dinosaur of the six you could play as had three special combo moves you could perform, and this animation for the T-Rex in The Isle looks identical to one of the T-Rex's combos in that game. The move was called "Rip And Tear", and it basically fell into the category of "spam this move and win every fight".

The only way I can see one defeating a rex would be to aim for it's legs or to grab it's tail while it's distracted and pull it down to the ground otherwise rex is going to be probably the most powerful dinos in the game.

FunFact: in The Isle Dinosaurs not Exist this is Creatures like this 3:12, but it looks like dinosaurs ( this is part of the Lore … That’s why Mutations is added … That’s not Dinosaurs That’s mutated Creatures :D )

so hyped for austro as i plan to specialize to be austro player and my planned diet is=fish, small ai like frogs, eggs, maybe some baby crocs, small and young dinos not sure but perhaps might hunt even herreras, and i am training for it already as herrera, gonna even train to be cannibal herrera

yeah but the carno is bugged, because if you hold the right mouse button down you take no damage from pounces and i mean none, no bleed, and no primary damage from the pounce, the only way for the raptors to kill a carno is bite fighting
