With The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD now out, every 3D Zelda game before Breath of the Wild has received an HD remaster or 3D remake. So to mark this occasion, let's take a look and have a comparison of the 3D remakes and HD remasters the series has had. With Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora's Mask 3D, Wind Waker HD, Twilight Princess HD and now Skyward Sword HD!

I think that another benefit of remasters is the fact that younger people that don´t have the oldest consoles can play them to (my case with the 3d titles)

Agreed! Remakes/Remasters are great. It opens the games to new audiences and gives us new avenues for playing them.

I bought Skyward Sword HD cuz I didn't have a Wii and I'm playing it for the first time, enjoying it so far 👍

I never really care much about the graphics. Especially with older Zelda games. I honestly care more about availability. Let's say Nintendo were going to release Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask onto the Switch. I would be fine with the original non-3D versions. Remakes and Remasters are nice, but they aren't make or break for me.

6:23 If they ever do port Twilight Princess to the Switch, one change I would love to see would be to give the players the option to play as a left-handed Link, or a right-handed Link, with Hyrule flipped accordingly. That way, people like me, who've only played Twilight Princess on the Wii could enjoy the game the way they want to.

Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask N64 were the first games I played, I never had the chance to play the 3DS versions but I hope one day we get them on Switch with an HD remaster
