One of my favorite bands of all time. I was able to see Firefall in Nashville around ten years ago.

Strange Way is by far my favorite. Every time I hear it, it takes me back.

Nice to have been mentioned in such detail given how many people have come and gone the last 47 years of the band's existence. Your time-line was a little jumbled, but that's cool. My brother Scott Kirkpatrick, came aboard the fall of 1982, several months before we began touring.

Thanks for this! One of my all-time bands, but they aren't Firefall without Rick Roberts. Headed For A Fall and Just Remember I Love You, two of my faves!

A band that most reminds me of the best part of the 1970s.

I saw them in March of this year at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs at the Altamonte Art Festival. All original members except for the bass player. Sounded great, one dude even still has that same hat. A lot of white beards on stage too.

Rick Roberts of late has been struggling with his mental health, but the rest of the band including former members and new ones have been putting out new material, the 2023 latest being a collection of covers that the band is celebrating with other bands they toured with. While the new material seems to be missing the spark that made Firefall so good on their first five albums, it is good to hear them again and know that the fire isn't out yet.

I just saw them last weekend and ive been a musician all my life. It was mind blowing great. They were literally as good as you could imagine. Jamming. Shredder musicians

I bought their first 3 albums. Played them a lot back in the 80s.

I saw Firefall in the fall of 2022. While they had technical difficulties, it was pleasurer to hear them. Particularly "Strange Way", my favorite Firefall tune.

I feel so lucky to have met jock bartley and mark andes in an after concert signing in 2018. Thier version of FIREFALL was very good in that night's concert. At the signing jock talked a bit with us about his Paul reed Smith guitar and the concert. Mr. Andes was a little quiet but seemed like a very nice gentleman. So glad I decided to catch the show that night. (Drummerman mike, 2024).

In Boulder Colorado back in the day I was in a sauna in Howard's Health Spa on Spruce or Pine street when two guys walked in and I immediately recognized one guy was Chris Hillman. Chris introduced his buddy Rick Roberts and said they were trying to cleanse Rick from the toxic effects of two much party powder. Chris said that Rick had to fly to New York the next day to make a pitch for a new band he was fronting named Firefall. Chris was pouring all kinds of herbal concoction into Rick's nose and mouth to clean out the damage from party powder. One wise sage thing Chris said to Rick that I succinctly remember is: "Party after you sign the contract not before." Anyway, I guess the intense cleansing work because I heard Firefall got signed to a contract deal.

Hate to see these great bands in constant financial straits. Along with numerous personnel changes. It's no wonder they didn't get as big as they should have.

I would love to see both(of the original) lead vocalists do at least another new album or two one of these days before the band officially retires from performing and making music. I would add that their latest flute player is pretty good And that was evident during a recent concert of theirs that I attended locally while they performed the songs You Are The Woman and then Strange Way(a nice 2 plus minute flute solo he did during that song, you don't see many of those at concerts these days). It would have been great for sure to see them have more success than they did, but their songs are still timeless even 50 years later.
