No name IGOR KOLB

The initiator and inspirer of the project, Igor Kolb, is a generously gifted and ambitious dancer, who has reached, it seems, all conceivable heights of professional maturity. He chose choreographer Alexander Chelidze as his co-author. They presented the "No name" ballet, or "From scratch". This is a hard-won moldable reflection on attention to the fragile inner world of a creator and his often painful relationship with reality. It explores the place of man in the modern world, where information availability and the broadest communication opportunities coexist with a sense of absolute isolation and total loneliness. Bach's music here sounds nervous and depressing; the video projection echoes some of the artist's movements or follows him like a devilish shadow. Neon light flickers intensely, and the dancer, unable to withstand the silence, communicates with the audience not only with his body — now stretched like a bowstring, now somewhat cracked — but also with words.
