Today's summary
Overall Team India -12/24
Men (A) -1.5-2.5 (Lost)
Men (B) - 3-1 (Win)
Men (C)-1-3 (Lost)
Women (A)-2-2(Draw)
Women (B)-3.5-0.5 (Win)
Women (C)-1-3(Lost)
The big surprise came in when it was announced that today India (B) is facing the mighty USA with an average rating of 2750+ everyone were expecting a draw should be best result for our young lads and the rest is history.
1.Who named this guy Gukesh and not Goku??? But Gukesh being Gukesh destroying the opponents with a 8/8 overall score and a massive live rating of 2729 this man is now India number 2. One of the superchat today rightly pointed out that watching Gukesh play is like watching Sachin Tendulkar's cover drive and I felt that. Beating one time's 2844 rated GM that too with black pieces is unreal but unreal is not a word for this guy.Gaining 100 ELO points in 3 months is nearly impossible but impossible is not a word for this guy. Bow down to this man.
2.Raunak Sadhwani is the man of the moment. Raunak playin Nbd4 was like Dhoni's 2011 world cup finale six. Beating Dominguez Perez once world #10 was not gonna be easy and surely it wasnt easy for Raunak but the way he played and defeated Dominguez Perez was a pleasure to watch. You cant create limits for these young guys they themselves create the limit and defeating USA that too with full power is one such example.
COMING TO WOMEN SUMMARY:
3.Vantika Agrawal converting with the black pieces was the summary for India women (B) team.
4.Padmini converted the game pretty easily.
5.Divya Deshmukh won a brilliant game making it a 2 game winning streak.
Overall a great day for team India and please dont miss today's stream.
Full of emotions, excitment, and entertainment one of the best stream of this Olympiad with 19k+ watching at some point of stream.
Great coverage by Sagar and 69 GM Harshit bhai and GM P.Iniyan❤

Heart goes out to Harikrishna, What a fighter! India A will surely strike back. Kudos to VD for holding all the games and being unbeaten throughout, love and respect for him. Full support, always. 💗 #IndiaTeamAfans

Congrats to Armenia. Delivering one of the dominant Olympiad performances despite losing their top player just before the event! Top class team performance.

Give Raunak some credits, guys! Defeated Dominguez despite such a huge rating difference.

If Gukesh D is so good, imagine how good is Gukesh A.

India 1 needs some wins from board 2. Harikrishna has delivered throughout so we can't blame him. Vidit needs to give us wins since he is higher rated on board 2 against almost all teams.

Harshit standard statement "kya he baat hai Sagar bhai ". Repeated 286 times during the stream.

What a mind-boggling performance from the youngsters! Simply incredible!! A little sad for India A, but kudos for the resilience; Armenia has been the strongest team leading the event till now. Absolute best to all for tomorrow! Thanks for a lovely coverage CBI! Harshit has been a wonderful addition to the commentary panel. And get well soon, Samay. You are missed. ❤

Absence of anand is now being clearly felt against the strong oppositions. First against Uzbekistan and now against Armenia. At start the problem was only with board 4 but with vidit unable to put any pressure with white, 2 boards are shaky. Previous match arjun somehow rescued. Had anand played he would not have only taken care of board 1 but also made life easier for other players in the team. The team would have absolutely no weakness with arjun on board 4.

Can't blame Hari here, such a tough endgame with just 30 to 40 seconds, only miracle would have saved that

Iniyan is such a great commentator! I remember seeing him in the camp with Pragg, Gukesh and others and it is so nice to see him be so supportive!

Given the length of the stream, it would be helpful to have timestamps in the comments denoting start of specific segments for those of us looking for specific topics of discussion.

Thanks for providing some great insight, for being gracious hosts and for letting us in to some insider perspective that is not available anywhere else.

You won't see any other commentator jumping with joy for a player winning. This raw emotion is why I love ChessBase India's coverage. Keep it up!

I don't know why people are so shocked about vidit's performance today. This is not the first time he fails to convert a clearly better position. Unfortunately this is not the last time.

Man we can't blame Hari now he has been fantastic throughout the tournament but vidit needs to show up ... because earlier board 4 was our problem but now sl narayana is looking good so as Arjun but VD needs to convert his good positions into win like youngsters
