I was at market in Perth Fremantle when I first heard this being played on the Piano. It was a rainy winters day and an older middle aged gentleman was playing this on the piano. At the time I had no idea what tune he was playing, except that it drew me in. And as I watched him play, I saw his hair and features change before my eyes as I imagined how he would have looked in previous years. I watched him age and become young again, and before I knew it tears were in my eyes. Today as I discovered this channel I fell in love with the many covers here and something told me to just give this tune a listen, and now finally two years later I know what the tune is. Music. It can be lifechanging. <3

I’ve been having really bad depressive episodes lately and I just wanna thank you, this is the first thing I heard this morning and it helped me to get up today. You’re so good at what you do and it makes me want to be a better person too. Wow! This piece is stunning. I loved the original as I played it for my family, but this version, it is phenomenal! The dynamics and accents really make it go, and the melody was nice too. My percussion director said that music needs somewhere to go, get louder or softer, you do that perfectly in this piece!
