so I was able to get my hands on both versions of the Note 10 Plus! Hope this puts it to rest which chipset is better. Hit me up on discord if you have any questions! discord.gg/mattmoniz

Competition is a good thing. Believe me if there was no competitor for qoalcomm by Samsung and Huawei, the processor would be slower than what it is now.

To think there was a time when the Exynos variant was more powerful, wth happened sung!?

There was always a difference in photo quality between two versions. Qualcomm variant used Sony sensors whereas Exynos preferred Samsung ones. And as far as I remember Snapdragon variant did better photos. Would be interested to know whether is still the same thing happens with Note 10+.

The problem with the battery was when the phone was on standby, please do a standby test and see if there is any difference between the two phones

They differ in battery life on standby. SD is more efficient than Exynos

He didn't talk about image processing
the gpu power
Qualcomm is way ahead of Exynos
Even the camera performs well on Qualcomm version

“Just as Good” wont cut it when you’re paying a thousand quid for these exynos underpowered galaxy. I live in Europe and my only option is Oneplus to get a snapdragon

Thank you for another insightful video! Some tech reviewers flagged differences in the camera experience between the S10 plus SD vs Exynos: the camera module/sensors on the SD was consistently better than the Exynos’. Did you notice any differences?

Thanks for such a quite informative video. I just recently bought an Exynos variant and I was too scared that I may not use the phone's maximum potential since it easily gets hot. However, right now, things seem to get better and I am adjusting bit by bit. Hehe either Exynos or Qualcomm Snapdragon, the bottomline is...I still have a Galaxy Note 10 plus. 😝

I'm from India and we get Exynos processors with the Samsung flagships. Good to know that there ain't no difference between Qualcomm and Exynos. Really a helpful video mate! Thank you!!

Matthew, biggest battery difference is NOT when you use it, its when Exynos is on standby!!

No no no the battery should be tested for its drain on STANDBY mode. I'm sure that's where SD will ultimately beat Exynos because that's what happened in Galaxy S10.

I definitely like that the Exynos has a higher single core score. Almost double that of the Snapdragon. It can mean that in the long run, the Exynos chip will be able to run individual apps more faster and more efficiently than the snapdragons. This is also the reason why Apple runs individual apps in the years prior even if it had a lower multi core score than Android flagships before it increased its multicore performance eventually.

Nice work man you are making a category of video that no one(youtubers) talks about. Being in India I hate the fact that we don't get snapdragon variant😒

Thank god they upgraded the exynos variant. You should do a camera test as well cause s10’s sd photos came out way better than the exynos’s ones. I hope this doesn’t happen on the note 10 plus. Great job overall.

The battery drain generally happens when not on WiFi, I avoided buying the s10+ as it is well documented that the battery drain happens on the exynos model of Samsung phones on 4g. I'd be interested to see your results again if you turned the WiFi off and just kept them in your pocket all day. Samsung really needs to get this sorted out as here in the UK it feels as though we get short changed by Samsung between the chipset and the camera

you should've compared the image processing
many people don't think about it, but yeah, your camera image quality also depend on the chipset

Snapdragon any day... Exynos have always trouble managing standby efficiency

Why was the Exynos Processor getting a better score when running the test a 2nd time?
