Cherrybomb glasspack on a 2000 Mustang 3.8 V6 BEFORE AND AFTER

This is a before and after video of my 2000 Mustang's exhaust. I put a Cherry Bomb muffler online for $30 and a tip from autozone for $20. It sounds a lot better than it did stock! This is a cheap way to make and V6 sound better.
Note: the last picture is not actually dual exhaust. I put that other pipe there for looks (haha)

@autumn2209 And it was really loud for a V6. At 3000 rpms it SCREAMED. I've owned a couple V8s and honestly I think this car was louder

If you're gonna put exhaust on a V6, take my advice. I have a 3.7 F150, so it's similar to the current V6 Mustang. Go dual Flowmaster 40's on an H pipe, and you're good to go. It's sounds decent, and NO, it does not sound like a V8, but it sounds good enough.

@cota2350 I got it on eBay for about $30. You can find them at auto zone and O'Riley's too. The shorter the glass pack you buy, the louder your exhaust will be! Good luck

@rossgb1998 I believe it's a 2 1/4 inch in and out. Measure your tailpipe to see what inch you need

Crackles sound great. I had the same exhaust on mine for a while but it did NOT sound like that.

What exactly did you buy? What exhaust tip did you buy from AutoZone? And do you have the link to the cherry bomb glass pack that you used?

Thrush Glass packs at autozone/ advance are 20 bucks or so..
thumbs up for broke poor people like me wanting a loud sound, short of chopping the whole pipe off!!! Glasspacks on everything i own, sounds amazing!!

All that noise to go 115mph I have the 95 5.0 V8 and I never realized how slow the v6 was. When I asked my friend why don't you do anything to add hp? He said because everything from the transmission back will take a crap lol

I'm going to do this setup on my stock 2000 mustang don't need to get dual exhaust one Cherry glass pack will do!

@autumn2209 Yeah man just get a cherry bomb glass pack! Measure your exhaust to see what inch you need. You can get them off eBay. Then take it to a muffler shop and they'll weld it on for you. Or do it yourself if you have a welder
