MVNO Carriers and Ting Wireless Review

After being tired of the high cell phone bill I had from AT&T for what I was getting in return, I started the quest to lower my bill. This, of course, led me to the world of MVNOs. I had no idea about these carriers and how many there are so I just picked the one I had heard the most about. Thanks to YouTube sponsorships and advertising pushing the service in many videos I watch, I went with Ting. I'm no longer with them and I share why in this video.

I have been on Ting since January 2014. My average monthly bill is roughly $13. I talk very little and all my messages are via Viber, WhatsApp, of Google Voice (texting). Ting works great for me!

I've been using Ting in NYC area for many years and like it - much less expensive than Sprint that I had. I now have my mother on my plan for $6 extra and we share the tier minutes under 1000/mo. little text and data =~$38/mo & I find the call quality good but I don't doubt the possible alternative experience of TU. Can get expensive if you use lots of various services yes!

Thanks for sharing your input on using ting and the brief overview of MVNOs. It was really helpful info for my own endeavor to switching off Verizons pricey network soon.

I think this plan/phone company is for me. I rarely use my phone but need it like a car needs a spare tire.

No, they are just like these other companies but they hind it better that's all, most people will not stay with TING in the long run, just like you and I did! one other time they were charging me for messages that i could never see it showed up only on their website, ( my data usage page ) they did that because my usage was so low they had to try and make money somehow from me.

AT&T and Cricket are the same company. They just want to incentivize people to go to AT&T with better service.

AT&T owns Cricket and Ting is a horrible choice for anyone that requires more than 1gb of data. With Twigby, I get unlimited talk and text for $15.
