Adam for now on I am calling you Wizard. Of course I like your rendition. I think the 4x5 helps, the treatment of the roads as well. Great video thanks

I always come away with some new ideas when watching your videos

That was really good, I did prefer your edit apart from the very top of the road that I thought was a tad to bright, but then everyone has their own idea of how the finished picture should look like. Thank you for shareing the way that you did the edit as its given me ideas on how to edit my own pictures.

I like both to be honest. I like the idea of it being stormy and I also love when Greens and greys are together

Every edited image is a compromise and based upon personal taste. All of our eyes are different and we see things in our own way. The way you fastidiously explain your actions is absolutely first class. You put your edits across based upon what you see wth your eyes. Absolutely excellent, a brilliant clip and made so understandable by your descriptive skills. 10/10 !!!!

Thank you for showing tools in LR that I haven’t previously used. You’re opening my eyes to ways I can improve my images.

Thanks a lot for processing this photo and addressing those issues I had. That bright road made the trick for me. I can always learn something from your videos. Much appreciated.

Here are my 2 cents. 😂 It is somewhere in the middle of the two edits with a little bit of drama. I love what you did to the sky! The idea of first darkening it down on top right is great, and I also loved how you negative dehazed the top part. It really helps with the separation. Mention of separation, I really liked how you separated each part.

I believe the road is too bright. For the feel of the image, I would have decreased the saturation of yellow and greens some. In my opinion, it would have helped convey the feeling a little better. I would have darkened the bottom with a linear gradient using just the last part of the gradient so it's a smoother transition. This way your eyes don't come back off of the image at the bottom. Some light dodging and burning on the mountain I believe would have made a little bit of a difference.

Adam, you're the pro though. That's just what I would have done. Each of us retouch images in different ways. It's what makes us different. We all see the world differently. Great job! Thank you so much for taking your time to do this video!

Great point about PS and LR being so powerful and having so many options that it can be overwhelming. Starting with the questions of how to address the image is definitely a good approach that I'll start keeping in mind. That adjustment to the road brightness was massive!

In the final side-by-side your edit looks warmer. Most noticeable in the reduced blue in the sky. It's not obvious what step could have done this. Love the result and seeing how you got there!

Thank YOU Adam. I learned a few new tricks. I am going to duplicate a mask in LR and use it as you did on the road. I also like the way you brightened up the trees on the left side against the background mountains.

Don't forget to save you work often between changes so you don't lose your work. Also make replicas / copies etc., when you want to redo the image and make a different version.

That was great Adam. I liked that you took it into Ps to brighten up those brighter trees in the midground and gave it a bit more pop.

Thank you for this. I love the little tidbits on mastering Lightroom/ACR. You make these videos so that anyone can follow along. For me, there’s nothing worse than having someone make an edit without actually showing which button/slider to use. I also enjoy your creative processes that you go through. Keep up the great videos!

This was excellent as always Adam. I really liked your approach and how you explained the difference between each mask and hold it can be adjusted on the fly

Andre's sky and mounrain with your road and green areas might work better. To me, the foreground and road is too bright aginst the light available through the clouds as adjusted on yojr version, Adam. Thanks for the lessons jjn LR masking, re aly apreciate it, particularly tp paint ojt whatyou don't want to adjust.

Ooo that was interesting. So useful! Interestingly I did think Andrejz original had a tad more depth in the foreground but I liked what you did with the road. I thought the mountains were problematic with perhaps too much haze and I wondered if taking down the blue and warming very slighly might work. Great video, thank you!

thank you for the lesson you make so much sense to follow. One day I would like to send one of mine in to see what I have learned from you?

Great work. I did prefer your edit slightly but Andre had done a pretty good job.
