Lapoint Mirage Water Ski 1980's RETRO test

Some serious handling issues with this plank. I could go no further than gentle wake crossings. Probably needs more fin. But it rode horribly -see the spray all over the place. The fin was jammed all the way back when I got it, now I know why!

Haven’t been on a ski since 1988, one thing for certain, given the opportunity with a 60’ rope - the ski would always be on either edge slicing through the wake.

Unskiable? No its not that great, but yoir not rippin it whatsover. Skkers have used old connelly mahogany skis, EP skis, old kidders and of course the old cypress garden skis in the beginning. I have skied on one of these my friend still has to this day. I skied 28 off 36 mph, 6 bouys over and over on it. I got a few at 32 off but its been years
