Best Raw Gold Raid Farms In WoW | Gold Farming Guide (8.3)

This video is going to go over the best raids to farm for raw gold in patch 8.3.

I recommend using characters with some kind of mobility boost or speed gear in order to complete these raids more proficiently. Also, with the amount of boe's and transmog pieces it would be a good idea to download the loot appraiser add on or hold all of these items until you can get over to an auction house to see if they are worth selling.

Pro-tip: When doing Shadow-Lord Iskar in HFC, body agro and wait for him to start casting fel chakram. Then you can burst him down in the cast and he never does the shadowy escape mechanic

Just to note the vast majority of mounts dropped fom bosses have ~1% drop chance. The chance listed on wowhead is affected by 100% drop rate when it was the current Xpac / raid tier.

Thanks for the vid! A few comments though:
1. How in blazes did you get a shorter clear time for SoO than HFC? Was that just a single run of SoO compared to all 4 difficulties for HFC, or am I missing something? I really don't see how SoO can be cleared that quickly!
2. I wouldn't recommend attempting any Legion raids on mythic difficulty, not even Nightmare. First boss has a mind control that'll reset the fight unless you can kill her before she casts it or you're a tank spec (then she won't use it on you). That makes it a lot less accessible for the general public than you may have let on in the video. Normal and heroic (and LFR) are all fine though!

There are some boss mobs with invincible phases, If you oneshot them, you can skip that. So If you can oneshot a boss, do it. (Except the insect boss in siege of ogrimmar, atleast keep one alive, till none is above you. Oh and btw this boss has two bugs that are still ingame after all this time...)

Should have mentioned the LFR runs from the Garrison - They make quick gold as well.

As a note, I make about 8-10000 gold an hour just on farming (I do skinning). Feel like this would be a lot more worth it as I don't have to fly anywhere and can stay in one spot and farm. But on the other hand I don't get any cool gear drops.

Little tip: use the focusing iris beam to instantly kill iskar, skipping the intermissions phase

I normally Skip SOO because their gold drop reward is not as good as other MOP raid. am I wrong? I've been doing all ex-expansion raids but you will more likely get around 1k per 10 mins.

Good addition with the pets! Those can really change the reason on doing some of these raids.

Have both the warlords mounts and a bunch of EN skips. Siege never got the mount, just need to farm it regularly. I remember hearing about the SoO mount and that or NH should be the next ones I go for I suppose.

I just did BRF all but 2 bosses. I couldn't figure out how to open the main gate at the start lol. I'll hopefully figure it out next time. What a maze if u don't know it! lol

I think the Gooey Sha-ling is the cheapest pet in Siege of Orgrimmar because it can drop in LFR, too.
