Student: What is Photosynthesis?

Teacher: Photosynthesis is a life process powered by the sun.
Photosynthesis is carried out by green plants.
In the process of Photosynthesis, green leaves uses sunlight, carbon dioxide and water to make food for the plant.
Plant absorbs water and minerals from the soil through roots.
Leaves absorbs sunlight, and stomata in the leaves absorb carbon dioxide.
Leaves use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to make glucose and release oxygen.
Thus, plant uses the carbon dioxide that we breathe out and provide the oxygen that we breathe in.
