I enjoyed your review. Well done. AN IMPORTANT NOTE... This bag is for US Domestic travel only! It is much too heavy to be practical for Australia or Asia where they have strict 7kg limits for carry on. This bag empty would be over 25% of your weight allowance. However it is clever and well designed and if your travel routes dont restrict weight, this is a great option.

I'm currently between getting this bag and the Peak Design travel backpack. I'm leaning towards this one because Peak Design's is pretty huge in comparison. As for the aesthetic of this bag, I think it's decent. But in the end once I get to my destination I'd be using a regular everyday bag. Awesome overview!

First things first: Great intro! Did you have a choice between the green or black when they reached out to you? I wish all the compartments had lockable zippers though. I snatched up two bags (both colors, because I hate having to make a definitive choice! LOL). I love their products so it's a no brainer to grab this. Since this is a pre-production bag, will you guys be able to get the final design with the accessory option?

No it is not, it’s heavier than others and the design doesn’t work with a laptop that is not a Mac 15 inch. The design puts the laptop in the center and hurts the storage capacity. Other larger backpacks have less weight than this one.
