I like her voice a lot and she's clearly just doing what she thinks is right. The problem is that I agree with Hoyo here if they fired her over this because the world they create is their. Whether they borrow inspiration from real world cultures or whatever, they are creating their own vision. Not everything in the realm of fiction needs to represent a 1 to 1 copy of real life, especially when it's a fantasy world that is not our own. That aside, there is nothing created today that doesn't draw inspiration from some elements of different cultures, stories from the past, etc. It's an unrealistic and weird expectation to demand representation in all things, or to demand that every fantasy world must respect and reflect our own real world. I use games for escapism as many people do.

I never cared for the boycott, I'm black, and I don't care about representation. From what I've seen these past few years is that most people aren't even genuine about this representation crusade they're on, only trying to prove that they themselves aren't racist. If I see a black character, I'll be like "Aye we got a brotha in the game. Let's go!" But five mins later, I forget that character is even black because it doesn't matter. As long as the character is written well, that's all that should matter. I don't think the woman deserved to be replaced. She chose to support it. Who cares, I may not agree with it, but it's her choice. I'm actually really disappointed with people who wished for her downfall with any other jobs. It's just heartless and disgusting. I will also say the other woman shouldn't have insulted the players as well. That tactic never works. When you result in insults, you don't have a point anymore.
