Mother speaks out after near-kidnapping caught on camera

As kids start heading back to school, Genna Skolnik, mother of two boys, shares her warning to other parents after two attempted kidnappings in Texas were caught on doorbell cameras.

That first incident showed the passenger get out and chase the kid. That means 2 people were trying to abduct.

I was a victim of attempted kidnapping at 8 years old , I was riding my bike he was dragging me, not sure where kicked my bike down, but thankfully my uncle and his friend were getting dropped off by cab driver, they saw the dude dragging me they beat the f*** out of him, he kept saying he thought I was his niece. Yeah right😒 Thank God he gave me another chance to talk about it. Satan is preying on our most vulnerable, innocent and pure, our children, let’s be vigilant and teach your children about stranger danger. God protect all the children in the 🌎🙏🏻✨

I was running in the the park at 14 yrs old when a man pulled up in a car and asked me for directions. As I was trying to figure out what he said, he made a comment about how "my leggings looked nice." I got an awful feeling and took off running towards the footbridge that I knew cars couldn't go over.
I'll never forget that day. Not sure if the guy was trying to kidnap me or just hitting on a 14 yr old but what they said is true: Be wary of strangers in cars! Especially when there aren't many other people around!

I'm a 78-year old and this is so upsetting to me as when I was 12-years old and out on Long Island I had SEVERAL incidents where I was almost abducted, one time by a man who tried to pull me into his truck. My mother was mentally ill so my parents were no help when I reported these incidents. One day when I was sent out alone to buy a winter coat at 12 (looking like 17) I took the train all the way into Manhattan and I was THRILLED to see ALL THOSE PEOPLE on West 34th Street -- I saw them as "witnesses" who would provide safety for me -- and I was right! I moved to Manhattan at 20 in 1966 and stayed till I was 70 in 2016 and no harm ever came to me in those 50 years with all those "witnesses!"

I’ll never forget when I was a kid my next door neighbour was almost kidnapped in front of her house until her family’s Rottweiler came running. Her dad also came out with a baseball bat, but the guys already drove away. She was understandably terrified, but safe. The dog saved the day.

Our kids never went anywhere without one of us ALWAYS with them! Soccer practice, lacrosse practice, cheerleading, volleyball, field hockey, practice, and every game. We have a 3 acre yard & they were never allowed in the front yard without a parent even as teenagers!

According to the local police who have investigated this incident, the kids were throwing things at the cars and swearing. The "adults" in the cars were local teenagers who were pissed the kids were throwing things at their cars and that's why they got out of the car and momentarily went after the kids...but do keep pushing a false story.

Someone tried to kidnap me when I was 16! It was terrifying. I ran for my life.

On our cul-de-sac, there would always be at least one or two dads outside in the front yards while the kids were outside playing. I was always one of them myself. After a while, it seemed a bit "much", however, one day a van stopped on a "through-street" and a man attempted to abduct a neighbor girl. I saw it from my front yard and ran over there as he got back in the van and drove off. A couple other dads heard the commotion and I did the "round up" sign with my arm. Two cars with dads chased after the guy and phoned 911 and followed until the police took over the chase and caught him. The girl was around 12 or 13 and played with my daughter in our front yard. Be vigilant parents and DADS stay ready for action. America had become increasingly more LAWLESS and all of the criminals know it.
