Thanks Maike, I really enjoyed your video. It‘s so refreshing and inspiring to see how you can easily bring joy and emotion to the page by adding some color. I think a lot of us are intimidated after having watched one too many super perfect artsy journal videos. I‘d love to see some tutorial videos! Do you use waterproof ink/draw to write with? I don’t see any feathering in your writing on the watercolor backgrounds.

what helps me a lot w sticking to printouts instead of stickers: i use low quality paper and printer w high quality image (to get a crisp image) and enhance or change the colours w watercolor, ink and coloured pencils.
i make sticker sheets in Canva (usually 8.5x11, sometimes 11x17) and print them out at FedEx at $0.61 per coloured page. w Canva you can eliminate backgrounds, orient and position etc.
w $10 you can get ~14 pages (8.5x11) before tax.
PET stickers are usually over $10 depending on theme and the number of stickers.

Thank you so much for this video Maike! I love that you share your pages with practical techniques that we can implement with supplies we have and that aren't too difficult for beginner journalers! I always struggle with the composition of my journal pages and feel like I have awkward empty spaces and unbalanced pages. I think filling in some empty spaces with subtle watercolor would help me! ❤
