But it ain't extortion when coaches threaten to leave unless they get what they want???

Extorted??? These guys finally have a change to leverage their talent since most of them will never go pro. With NIL + Transfer Portal coaching is just much tougher than in the past. Coaches have less command and less control, that's a key part of the beef.

That is not extortion. What NIL is highest bidder wins.

Everyone says “What you were supposed to do” regarding NIL.
But the rules states that boosters can be involved. So really that’s also what thee players are supposed to do too. Their supposed to lean on and squeeze boosters too.

So what colleges been exporting these kids & their families for decades. The game is full circle. What goes around comes around

I thought we wanted to pay these players? I thought the evil NCAA and the evil administrators only care about making the most money for themselves. Now everyone wants to be in these kids pockets? These coaches out here making millions and wanna be in these kids pockets. Yea there are unintended consequences. BUT I THOUGHT THIS IS WHAT WE WANTED.

To me, he used to have the best product available. Look, I know Bama Alum that are very wealthy, but I don't think they can outbid Texas oil money... so if it's a straight money game he's going to lose some players. Sure, the rules should change a bit, but he going to have to adjust in the mean time.

The problem is it's just like a job. This younger generation comes into a job an they think they deserve the same pay as someone that's been there awhile without proven their self first. What these kids don't want to do is EARN it. Straight out of high school you haven't proved yourself. Go out an EARN it first. They don't deserve the top pay as soon as they walk in the door. This entitled generation is going to destroy college football an have all but destroyed the work force across the country. I see it everyday at work.

Nick Saban needs to be the last person talking. Look how many mothers they got upset PUBLICLY when their sons chose Alabama over other schools.. It was no longer about what was best for the players it was about what was promised to the mothers by Alabama!!!
