You really remind me of my to soon passed granddad. Giving life advice, perspective and meaning. (I've been too young to fathom the real value of his wisdom at that time.)
My grandma passed before him and he struggled for quite some time - as we all did.
I think time never heals all wounds but I think it makes grief and sorrow fade away and happiness and remembrance of the good times become more prominent.
