I just finished mine yesterday, Race-tech fork spring kit, Ktech rear shock and 550 ECU mod all at the same time! I went out for a test ride and it lasted for 60 miles. Extremely smooth and sure footed now, what a great machine!

Good information.

Preload adjuster appeared to be at minimum setting (as it comes from factory). Adjusting that helps a lot to remove the sag and for some riders would probably suffice instead of buying a new shock.

Hoping to get a crf 300l in spring I think I’ll need to do suspension as I am a 240 pound bodybuilder lol

When you reinstalled your front fork, did you use a torque wrench on the pinch bolts?
I was going to just snug them up to what I thought would be sufficient, but then I said what the heck, I’ll use my tongue wrench, since I have one. I can not believe that the spec on those bolts are only 21 ft lb. I don’t understand how I can loosen bolts on this bike, and they feel like they were originally tightened by a gorilla, but they want me to tighten them back up with strength of a 9 year old.

Question did you get the STANDARD height REAR K-TECH or the Regular one?

After having installed the regular K Tech (not the lower version), how much taller is the seat *Sitting on it?

At 5'8" with 31" inseam, the bike squats/sags quite a bit which makes the seat height confidence inspiring allowing me to reach the ground with the balls of both feet.

I was just today looking at KTech and trying to decide between lower version or regular.
