Free People Presents | Neighbor ft. Daisy Lowe

In Neighbor, Free People's most recent short film, Daisy Lowe plays the sexy girl next door trying to reel in a cute boy, played by Jacques Naude, who lives in building across the way. This cheeky love story features the UK model/actress putting in a good deal of effort to appear effortlessly beautiful. Daisy Lowe aims to get the mysterious neighbor's attention through their city window with a few funny mishaps along the way. The short is a quirky take on the best way to find love... by simply being yourself.

Despite people talking about the "physical" outlook of Free Peoples' short films, there is always a story behind it. The concept is beautiful and that's what I look at more than the people that are being worked up over how they look.

I have just read comments on the fact that she is wearing revealing clothes or whatever, well that is the point. the point of the videos is to show the newest collection and in this daisy lowe was chosen to model the intimates line, meaning bras and underwear. if she was covered up it wouldn't be very good advertising.

I think a lot of people here are missing the point of the film. As time goes on, she stops trying to change the way she looks to impress him because she realizes that he already likes her and thinks she's beautiful the way she is. At least that's how I chose to interpret it. Also, I totally look just like that when I wake up in the mornings... just add a little more drool.

I think you're reading this film slightly wrong. It seems like how most real relationships start out. In the beginning you put yourself out there in a way that makes you seem like the best looking, most interesting and cultured version of yourself. As you become more comfortable with someone you able to be yourself around them.
At least thats what I got from this.
Everyones guilty of trying to improve themselves to impress someone. Being a guy its not makeup for me but I've had my equivalents.
