Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. Let's take a moment to appreciate the quality of Lewes FC's pitch. A thing of beauty and for those interested its a hybrid pitch which combines natural grass with synthetic fibres. Also sorry I was late, please direct your anger towards the lorry that broke down on the Dartford crossing.

Higgo gonna make a massive difference in the games he's able to play

Devs said it best post match, no one wanted to enjoy defending together. Those 2 goals were completely schoolboy defending and it looked like a group of individuals. Might have underestimate how massive Tommo was

Higgos was class, unreal for the first goal. Real talent up top. Toby class as always, puts 110% into everything. Devs let's see Matty in midfield more, he's our Trent and has been good there every time he's played there.

I wish they would occasionally include some clips that actually lead to a goal in the "coming up" sequence at the start, or just remove it entirely. It's basically a big spoiler right at the start of the video and ruins the suspense of the highlights, as you know in advance which chances aren't going to result in anything.

Foxley looking like the non-league JWP with those deliveries. Crossing and overall end product from the front line was criticised last season, but Higgo and Fox looking dangerous already.

Looks like it was a good game between two decent teams. Lewes played weel and probably deserved the win, but there's a lot of positive in there from us. Higgo, in particular, looks like he's going to be dangerous and there were several other decent performances. I'm not too downhearted witht the start to the campaign. We'll get our share of wins, I'm sure.

Lewes' second goal was excellent skill but Quba completely sold himself and turned his back. Poor defending.

Higgo pushed him yes but the goalkeeper had a howler. Miss read that ball and had nothing to do with the push. So a very debatable call by the ref.

Higgo looks very solid, just needs to make sure he’s putting those chances away especially in games like this one.

Thought this performance was pretty good against a good team tho but a lot to improve on still.

Was ridiculous the amount of times we looked to had won the ball but turned it over instantly and the pressure piled on even more.

Liking foxley and Higgins. Quba and Ayo have potential in this team they just look like they need to settle in, I remember when eman okunja came in a couple years ago and had a shaky start and I probably judged him too early and thought he wasn’t good enough, but ended up playing a massive part in the title win so I’ll never judge a player too early again !
