Everyone forgot about this anime
While I might be a little dramatic I, this is just a anime that I highly recommend, full of action and amazing animation that takes you on an emotional roller coaster throughout the series, made by none other than Kyoto animation who literally don’t miss on their anime.
Following the story of this girl kuriyama, who is the sole survivor of a clan of Spirit World warriors with the power to employ their blood as weapons. And she is tasked with hunting down and killing "youmu"—creatures which are the manifestation of negative human emotions. But one day while on the school roof kuriyama comes across Akihito, a rare half-breed of youmu in human form. And in a panicked state she plunges her blood saber into him only to realize that he's an immortal being. From then on, the two form a friendship that revolves around kuriyama constantly trying to kill Akihito, in an effort to boost her own confidence as a Spirit World warrior. Eventually, Akihito also manages to convince her to join the Literary Club, which has two other powerful Spirit World warriors and group up together to hunt youmu.
