I bought one of these earlier this year, it print on the 1 inch label but does not want to print on the 2 inch label, it keep spitting out sample paper. I bought a new 2 inch cartridge for about 80$ still it won't print just spitting out samples? Do you have any ideas what could be wrong?

Does this thermal printer force you to buy Brother branded labels like Dymo are doing and a few others ?

Micro usb seems a odd choice, typically it would either by usb c or a normal full size usb "b" type connector, even the location of it seems odd sticking out the side that it is.
