Vike just wanted to say after listening to this a few times I wonder how this would sound without the percussion (to me it conflicts with the sentiment of the song) maybe only use the accoustic or other variety of strings...maybe some wind instruments? I've come to associate your style gravitating toward (emotion). To me, percussion beats push more toward (rock, dancing, and parties). To me, the repetitive loud beat overlay comes off as perhaps being an unnecessary distraction from the vocal and song. All the best :)
