I " reverted" to Islam after finding a Quran on the " T" in Boston, I found the acceptance and sense of belonging I looked for all my life as a person of multiracial background, I tried many faiths yet found myself still empty until Islam filled my heart, I was inspired to build a masjid, found a beautiful incredible wife from Pakistan who also made me a better Muslim.
I lost most of my family who did not accept my faith but gained a new family in Islam.
I will never Insha'Allah give up this beautiful gift of Islam.

salaam alaikum, I've personally made the decision to convert to Islam as i luv the whole idea that Muslims help each other & especially the less fortunate & that's why they give money during Ramadan & it is a beautiful & simple religion, but haven't taken my Shahada yet but plan to on Wednesday...Alhamdulliah

Welcome my sister. I reverted in 1995 and my only regret is that I didn't discover Islam until I turned 40. Islam means everything to me and inshallah I'll live another 40 years and convince my children to follow the way of Almighty Allah!!!you are a very brave individual and Allah will bless and protect you.
