Question related to NJAC Act 2014 ....
Answer: The supreme court held the 99th constitutional amendment act 2014 and the national judicial appointment commission ( NJAC ) act 2014 unconstitutional and void . Because the supreme court want collegium system and the executive want and passed 99th amendment act 2014 in the Article 124A . Article 124 of the constitution in clause (2) "After consultation with such of the judge of the Supreme Court and of the High Courts in the states as the President may deem necessary for the purpose ".
Then the Supreme Court said this is unconstitutional and un justified because majority 4 out of 6 persons are under executive and judges are minority.
So, this reason the Supreme Court void the 99th Amendment Constitution.
