I rebuilt my whole fcr carb. I didnt run any cleaning wires through the jet orfices but i did spray carb cleaner and air. The starter jet was filthy from old fuel so my rebuild kit included a new replacement.

My bike will still not start even after the rebuild. I checked valve clearance, i have spark and i have compression.

Use the jd jetting kit on these fcr carburetors and if you have a hot start remove it and replace it with a choke plunger just like the normal choke. Also boysen makes a quick shot for this carb you can ad to spit more fuel 😎🤙

Thra knob no only pull fuel, also comunicate air pasage, so it is able to rev up higher than idle, odviusly the mixture is reacher than the normal idle pasage, each time you change pilot jet or regulate idle screw, you also are messing with the cold start mixture as well,

My starter jet was busted up, so I put 160 instead didn’t know what was the old one … ohh boy it was not fun figuring out what’s wrong
